When I arrived for my procedure, I waited a reasonable amount of time before being called back to the dressing area. After changing, I waited another 10 minutes or so before a staff member retrieved me. She initially told me the procedure would involve contrast, which confused me since I didn’t think that was planned, but then she corrected herself and confirmed it would be without contrast as expected. The nurse or assistant who walked me through the paperwork didn’t seem very sure of the answers to my questions and appeared to have some trouble with English, so I waited patiently for the radiologist. Once she arrived, the radiologist explained everything clearly and quickly. However, right before the procedure started, I became very anxious watching the interaction between the radiologist and the assistant. The assistant didn’t seem to know where most supplies were located, forcing the radiologist to search through drawers and cabinets herself. It honestly felt like this nurse had never been in the room before. I had Colonoscopy done and my experience from the Check in reception, pre-op care and post-op care were all excellent. Everyone who took care of me was pleasant, professional, respectful and consistent. I’m so thankful for their care and service. God bless each one of them.

St. Luke’s Sugarland has been my FAVORITE…fast, clean, go-to hospital in the region. There usually isn’t an extensive wait time whenever I’ve had a visit. My triages have always ranged from a few short minutes to less than an hour in one extreme circumstance during a high-volume season…to be seen in the ER waiting room. The ER Physicians are impeccably compassionate, competent and effective at saving lives. Every time that I’ve visited the hospital or had an admission, my experience has always been pleasant. The medical teams kept me alive, they kept me informed and they’ve sealed my confidence in seeking emergent care. I pray that everyone continually achieves conscientious team-driven results at all times. All patients and all staff’s lives matter. I’m grateful for the positive energy that I’ve consistently encountered. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at St. Luke’s Health was overall excellent, and I am very grateful for the care I received. Special recognition to: * Sera, Day Nurse — absolutely excellent, compassionate, attentive, and professional. * Akudu, Evening Nurse — equally excellent, caring, and very responsive to my needs. * C. Taylor — excellent service and professionalism. * The evening CT Scan Technician on 5/12/26 — kind, patient, and reassuring during my procedure. One area that needs improvement was my experience with the evening CPA nurse on 5/12/26. She never introduced herself or wrote her name on the board as the other staff members did. Her bedside manner felt pushy, and she disregarded Sera, who was already assisting me at the time. Better communication and patient-centered interaction would greatly improve the experience. Overall, I appreciate the outstanding care provided by most of the team and thank them for helping make my stay comfortable and supportive.
